More About Kim Anthony

To let you folks know a little more about Kim Anthony, this is a short bio. Kim was born in Kewanee Illinois. He was the oldest of five, with two brothers and two sisters. Kim graduated from West Aurora High School, class of 1973. Kim started learning to play the guitar at the age of 6 with the help of his Aunt Helen. She taught him chords and he took off from there on his own.

He started singing at the age of 8 in school and on local television and radio stations. Kim learned to play the harmonica and played the drums for most of his life. He was a guest on many country music artists shows, off and on until he was 16 and discovered girls. He is the cousin of Rock-a-Billy and Country Music Hall of Fame member Brenda Lee.

Kim's dad was a general supervisor for Caterpillar Tractor Company and is now retired.

His mom stayed at home 'til the last of the kids were grown.

Then she went to work for Farmers Insurance for 20 more years. As he was growing up, his dream was to be a singer and a pilot. Kim joined the Air Force and is a big support for our troops.

Through his short life he has learned to do many things, but his music career has always been his dream.

Playing in big band ensembles throughout high school and Country music in his adult music career. To make a living, Kim is an electrician and has had that skill for 38 years, always with his heart in music and developing the career of a country music entertainer.

Kim has two beautiful daughters, Tauna Marie and Christina Kim. They have blessed him with seven beautiful grandchildren. After Kim went to Nashville to star in a Country Music Opryland Show, he was signed by a record company to sing backup and intro shows for many famous and distinguished country music artists. Having much more success than he ever dreamed possible, Kim was able to tour and enjoy the wonderful friends and fans he has acquired throughout many years of entertaining people all over the world!
